Gift lists you keep together
One list per occasion, kept by the people who are actually organising it, read by the people who are actually buying. That is most of what “managing gift lists” turns out to mean once you stop trying to do it in a group chat.
A list can have more than one keeper
A wedding list is not one person’s job, and neither is a nursery. In Hintik a named list can be kept by several people at once: everyone with access adds, edits and reorders, and the list is the same list for all of them.
There is no cap on how many co-authors a list has, and only the person who created it needs Hintik Pro — the list carries its owner’s Pro, so a co-author gets photos and the rest of it without buying anything. Creating named lists on your own is free and unlimited.
Lists you keep for someone else
Parents keep lists for children who have no phone. Someone keeps the list for a grandmother who is not going to install anything. In that arrangement the people keeping the list are also the ones giving the gifts, so hiding the “taken” marks from them would be nonsense — a list flagged as kept for someone else shows its keepers exactly what is already claimed.
That is the same idea as the kids wishlist, and it is where most families actually start.
Who sees it, and how long
By default a list is visible to your people — the ones already in your circle — and that is free. If a list should reach only the handful you deliberately send it to, that narrowing is part of Hintik Pro, as is giving a public link an expiry date and hiding a single item from it.
One thing is fixed regardless: a gate only ever stands on switching a setting on. A list already private, an item already hidden, a link already set to expire — all of it keeps working, and can be switched back off, with no Pro at all. We do not take away access to data you already entered.

Frequently asked
Do co-authors need to buy Hintik Pro?
No. The list carries the Pro of whoever created it, so everyone editing it gets the same features. Only the creator pays, and only once — Hintik has no subscriptions.
How many people can keep one list?
As many as you like. There is no limit on co-authors and there never has been.
Can people mark what they are bringing?
Yes, and by default the list owner does not see those marks — same rule as everywhere else in Hintik. On a list flagged as kept for someone else, the keepers do see them, because they are the ones buying.
Is creating lists a paid feature?
No. Named lists per occasion are free and unlimited, each with its own shareable link. What Pro adds is co-authors on a list and the access settings around it.
Can I stop sharing a list after the event?
Yes. Turn the link off, or reissue it to get a new address and retire the old one. Both are free.
