Your buyers stop guessing.
They hint at your products.
Hintik is an app where people hint to each other about gifts. The “Send hint” button on a product page lets a shopper send that same item to someone close — with size, colour, price and a link to you. And that person will come here to buy it.
Free. Integration takes minutes: one tag in your template, no exchange of customer data.
The person choosing a gift is the least informed shopper in your store
Doesn’t know the size. Doesn’t know which colour is already at home. Doesn’t know whether someone else is giving the same thing. So they don’t buy, or take “something neutral”, or take it — and return it two weeks later. A wishlist inside your shop doesn’t save the day either: it lives behind a sign-up, and someone who is just looking for a gift won’t sign up.
Returns
Wrong size is the number one reason clothing comes back. A hint carries the size the shopper picked on your own page.
A lost intent
“I want this, but not for me” leads nowhere today. The tab gets closed and you never hear from them again.
A second buyer
A hint brings you someone who has already decided to buy and knows exactly what. All that’s left is “Buy”.
People love Hintik because you can hint — for a big occasion or for no reason at all
Hintik is right there: the person puts your thing on their own wishlist, or hints at it to someone specific. Either way they come back to you — with your link, the size and the colour.
The occasion is still ahead
A birthday three months away. They like the thing now, buying is early. Hintik brings it back when the time comes — and brings it back with your link.
Looking for a gift for someone
Then your page isn’t the end of the road, it’s the start of a conversation: they ask through Hintik whether it’s the right thing, and buy for sure.
Wasn’t planning to buy
They just liked it. Instead of a closed tab, the thing lands on their wishlist — and whoever gives the gift comes for it.
Then it’s a choice of three — and all three lead back to you
One button next to “Buy”
The shopper taps “Send hint”
Right on the product page. Nothing to fill in: title, price, photo and the chosen size are read from the page.
Picks who it’s for
To their mum, their husband, a friend. The hint reaches one person — the one who can give the gift.
The recipient gets a notification
A push with your link and the exact spec — size, colour, price. Not a search page with competitors next to it. All that’s left is to pay.
One line in the product card template
You take the button ready-made: pick a style that fits your design, light or dark, copy the code. It fills in the current page address itself.
The questions everyone asks first
What does it cost?
Nothing. Not for installing, not per click, not per purchase. Hintik earns from Pro inside the app — from people, not from partners.
Is this an SDK? Do we integrate something?
No. It’s a plain link with your own product address inside. No script, no access to carts or accounts.
What do you do with our customers’ data?
Nothing — we never get it. All that reaches us is the page address a person sent themselves, and what they wrote about it to their person.
What if the shopper doesn’t have the app?
The button opens a Hintik page where they can install it, and the chosen thing isn’t lost: after installing, the app opens exactly that item. If they already have the app, the button opens it right away.
What about our mobile app?
A button for your mobile app is coming. Write to us if you need it: we build the first integrations together with the partner.
Shall we hint to your buyers?
Put the button on a product page and see how many people use it. Installing is one tag; if something doesn’t sit right in your layout, we’ll do it together.
